How It's Made

Clay Preparation
High-quality white clay is prepared with special mixtures and molded for the plate form.

Wheel Shaping
The 30cm plate takes shape on the pottery wheel under the artisan hands.

Bisque Firing
The dried plate is hardened through bisque firing at 900°C.

Tree of Life Pattern
The Tree of Life motif inspired by Hittite civilization is carefully drawn with fine brushes.

Gold Leaf Application
24-karat gold leaf is applied onto the pattern with special adhesive.

Glazing
The entire surface is coated with transparent glaze while preserving the gold details.

Final Firing
Final firing at 1050°C makes the gold leaf permanent and the glaze shines like glass.
