3′ Floor Lamp
₺3,450
The construction of traditional Turkish mosaic lampshades is based on meticulous craftsmanship, which is transmitted through the master-apprentice relationship. The manufacturing process consists of the following stages:
Ground Preparation: In the first step, transparent glue is applied to a transparent glass sphere manufactured using the blowing technique.
Mosaic Arrangement: Hand-cut pieces of colored glass and small beads are arranged one by one to create geometric motifs such as Anatolian star on the glass sphere.
Gypsum Filling: After the pattern is completed, the sphere is plastered with a special white plaster to seal the gaps between the glass pieces and fix the structure.
Cleaning: After the plaster has dried, the excess on the glass is cleaned and the glasses are polished to ensure the appearance of colors.
Assembly: The three prepared glass spheres are completed with the electrical system and assembled into a brass or bronze plated metal frame and formed into a set of 3 floor lamps.
